To comply with Washington Administrative Code (WAC 392-172A-05235), Prosser School District will be disposing of Special Education records as follows:
• Records dated prior to and including the 2023–2024 school year will be disposed of on August 1, 2030.
• Records ending in the 2025–2026 school year will be disposed of on August 1, 2031.
Parents and guardians have the opportunity to request and collect their student’s special education records before the respective disposal dates. Requests must be made by the end of business day prior to the scheduled disposal. To request records, please contact the Prosser School District Special Services Office at (509) 786-1820.
