On Friday April 14th members of the Prosser FFA competed in the Washington FFA Agriculture Mechanics Competition. From left to right: Brady Mount, Andrew Gray, Aaron Lansing, Jett McDonald, Alexi Fuentes and Mr. Hayter. Individual members Alex Fuentes was the 1st Place Individual and Aaron Lansing was the 9th Place individual. Alex and the team have placed 1st in 4 of the 5 local contest this year. 26 teams and 130 students form across the state competed at the competition held at Perry Tech. Students complete written tests and skills tests in different areas. This years areas included Machinery and Equipment, Arc Welding, Construction, Small Engines, Electrical Wiring, and Environmental. The team has put in many hours practicing to prepare for state. Congratulations to the Ag. Mechanics Team!
