2022 MVL-MCL Girls Wrestling Tournament
Housel Middle School's Girls Wrestling Team competed on Saturday with 13 other middle schools from around the area in the 2022 MVL-MCL Girls Wrestling Tournament. Head Coach Bob Johnson and Assistant Coach Hannah Perkins were excited to report that in their first team appearance at the tournament, three of the six HMS wrestlers placed in the top of their weight bracket!
- 1st Place in 120 lb. Bracket: Irelyn McDonald
- 3rd Place in 120 lb. Bracket: Elizabeth Johnson
- 6th Place in 125 lb. Bracket: Taya Wilkinson
Also wrestling in the tournament were Sariah Lopez, Maritza Martinez, and Payton Raver.
