WE Scared Hunger 2022!
This year during our WE Scare Hunger food drive, our school brought in an incredible amount of food. We have some pretty awesome stats to share with you!
- At the 6th grade level, our overall champion was Mrs. Carey’s class with 508 items. In 2nd place we had Mrs. Weber’s class with 267 items.
- At the 7th grade level, Mr. Harris’s class claimed 1st place with 325 items. Mr. Wood’s class came in a very close 2nd with 317 items.
- At the 8th grade level, Mr. Smith’s class came in 1st place with 291 items. Mr. Appelgate’s class came through on the last day to jump into a 2nd place finish with 142 items.
We had a grand total of 3,378 items donated this year. Our donations to the Jubilee Ministries food bank totaled 3,760 pounds. We are so grateful for all of our students, families, staff, and community members that helped us scare hunger out of Prosser! Thank you!!
