We are about three weeks away from welcoming our new and returning Colts to HMS for the 2022-2023 school year!
A few important reminders:
1. Our school supply list was posted a few weeks back, but in case you missed it, each student will need the following:
- Backpack
- Three (3) College-Rule Composition Books
- Five (5) Two-Pocket Folders
- Pencil Case/Pouch
- Twelve (12) Pencils (Mechanical or Wood)
- Ten (10) Pens (Blue or Black Preferred)
- Highlighters
- Erasers
- Sticky Notes
2. As you are shopping for clothing, please be sure to read through the Prosser School District Policy/Procedures on Student Dress. This can be found on the Prosser School District website under Our District > Prosser School District Policies and Procedures > Students > 3224P.
3. We are planning a 6th Grade Orientation Night for Thursday, August 25th AND a Back to School Night for all students and families on Monday, August 29th. Be on the lookout for more information about these events coming soon!
4. Information about Fall Sports will be coming soon as well. In the meantime, students who are considering trying out for a sport this year should have a parent/guardian schedule an appointment with a doctor for a sports physical. Sports physicals are valid for two years from the date noted by the doctor.
