High School Theatre is proud to present Oscar Wilde's "The Importance
of Being Ernest.” This
classic British comedy is about the trials and tribulations of two young
men. Jack Worthing is portrayed by Joel Martin.
Algernon Moncrieff is portrayed by Scott Kelly.
The Reverend Cannon Chasuble is portrayed about Eric Benson.
Gwendolen Fairfax is portrayed by Debbie Evans. The Lady Augusta
Bracknell is portrayed by Elaine Wright.
Miss Prism is portrayed by Lynea Askew.
All these actors are seniors and have been involved with a number
of PHS's productions. We have
three new actors for this production.
Cecily Cardew, Jack's ward, is portrayed by freshman Emily Sweet,
Algernon's manservant Lane is Robert Armstead, a junior;
Jack's butler is Caleb Wolkenhauer a sophomore.
Our Tech crew is headed up by the stage manager, Elia Lara, a
senior. Our stage crew are:
prompter, senior Rachel Field; lights, sophomore Matt Hileman;
sound ,junior Jamie Campbell; publicity, seniors Tyler Newton and Jen
Sweetwood; props, junior Shabman Mojtahedi; costumes/dressers, junior
Priscilla Pankratz and freshman Diane Wright; crew, junior John Dwells;
sophomores Anna Hatfield and Sarah Willard; freshmen Andrew Potter, and
Dani Thomsen. Directors are
Bill Campbell, from PHS, and Peggy Valnes from Prosser Heights Elementary.
Performances will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 20, 21,
and 22. All performances will
start at 7:30 p.m., doors will open at 6:45.
Cost will be $4.00 for adults and students without ASB and $3.00
for children, senior citizens, and students with ASB.
We hope to see all of you at our performances.
