PHS History Day Team

National History Day Senior Competition Team

Are you interested in History?  This year, Prosser High School students are invited to join the 21^st Century PHS National History Day team.

Students on the team will meet once a month with Mr.Smith and independently work on a performance, documentary, exhibit, or research paper.  Team members will then enter their projects at the regional National History Day competition in Mattawa on March 10^th.

If you are interested in joining the team, meetings will be held in Mr. Smith’s room 102 at Housel Middle School on the first Saturday of each month from 9-11:30.  Send Mr. Smith an email, drop him a line, and let him know of your interest and he’ll arrange for a pass for your participation.  All PHS students are invited to join the PHS NHD Team.  You can also visit Mr.Smith’s Website at http://smith.quicktel.com/ and click on the Join PHS History Day team for more information.

Remember, you need a pass to attend.  We will meet Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 6, February 3, and March 3rd from 9:00-11:30 AM.
