Students at Housel Middle School are expected to record their daily classroom activities in their school agendas. Building rules and expectations are included in the first three chapters of the manual. Students receive X's in their agendas if they are tardy, disruptive, and/or don't have their agenda filled out properly. At the end of the week (usually Friday) only 7th period teachers stamp students' agendas to show that they have checked their agendas and either given them their sticker for the week or written no sticker. All X's for the week would have been given out by the teachers prior to 7th period. Parents are encouraged to sign their student's agendas each week to prove that they have seen the agenda weekly. Students can receive no more than four X's each 5-day week to earn a sticker. Students then earn rewards for stickers earned. See the calendar for reward dates.
