Reading 6

Course Description:

Students will be reading independent novels ; work on various WASL skills and strategies; inference; sequencing; elements of fiction/non-fiction; read aloud; shared reading; guided reading; introduction to the study of genres; possibly work on reading or phonemic skills in the Reading Academy program; and study a variety of literature through The Language of Literature (6^th grade).
