6th Grade Art
Course description:
This class will focus on the Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Form, Value, Texture, Space and Color. Students will learn drawing techniques, creating repetitive patterns, positive and negative space, along with color theory and the color wheel, and using and mixing complementary colors. Students will learn about different careers in the Arts. The course is geared toward students who have had a limited exposure to the Arts.
Length: one quarter
